FALLING APART AND SPILLING THE BOTTLE

We figured these old songs deserved to be resurrected from the beat up, dusty beer-stained shelf they were on. We hope you all dig'em. These were the early days of drunken dreams and frequent trips to Detroit. This was a different time for The LOSERS. Brad and I had started the band with the idea of it being a nice little country band but that quickly mutated into the songs on here. We wrote about 10 songs in the sweltering spring heat of a little shed I was living in at the time and then fleshed them all out at Brad's house, after he finally let us start practicing there, as we got more and more band members. I asked Leslie Porter to come sing on some stuff with me, she had been in a previous band with me called CRESCENDO and I knew she had a great voice. At the time we really wanted to find someone who could play some badass southern rock guitar and we put up an ad and to our happiness this awesome guitar player, Ron Strawder, started coming to practice with us. After that, we ran into Aron Rue at a party and we finally had a drummer. The songs all came quickly and we were playing shows like crazy and decided we needed to head up to the WOODSHED in Detroit, to have Tim Pak record us. We went there 3 different times, I think, and had some decent recordings come out of it. We had alot of fun and alot of great times, but in the end it was just me and Brad that would stay LOSERS. Ron was the first to leave and then Aron. We went through a revolving door of guitar players and drummers. Leslie decided to leave the band then and started a new band. These songs are our history, a neat little placemat in time for a band that was still finding themselves as artists and trying to figure out what the hell they wanted to do. So here they are for ya. Download' em, open up that whiskey bottle and turn'em up to ten.
