" I'll be honest, I didn't really get it until about the third song. This is so different, yet so familiar I had a scrunched up face while listening to the first two songs. Then One For The Librarian started and I was hooked. By the time that song was over I was flying through this album looking for the next gem of a song.
Upon first listen the melodies will immediately suck you in. They're simple and that is definitely not a bad thing. You'll easily want to sing along with this album during first play. Second time through the lyrical masterpiece pops out. There is no doubt that Chris Bentley is a lyrical genius. A lovesick, drunken mess fuels the entire album. the latest stuff happening....

We will be releasing a short run of the live cd soon with some cool extra stuff on it.  Then we are heading to Detroit the first week in February to record our extremely long overdue sophomore album with a release date of March 31st to coincide with our very first ever tour of the west coast April 1st thru 12th. So keep your fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly!!!

LIVE ALBUM TO BE RECORDED JULY 18th!!!

We are going to be recording a live album at Sadie Renes in North Canton on Friday July 18th. tim and Ed from the Woodshed Recording Studio in Detroit will be coming down to record our show. We will need as many people as we can get out there screaming and going crazy like the midwest lunatics they are!!!!
The album will then come out on Midwest Superfriends Records in late Fall!!

New Song!!!

We just recorded a cover of the classic GUN CLUB song "Sex Beat" at The Woodshed in Detroit to be on an upcoming nationally released GUN CLUB tribute album. We are going to offer it here on the site for free to all our fans. We would like to thank Tommy from Cowboy Messiah for being a stud and playing the drums on it.

EQUIPMENT STOLEN FROM US!!!!

           On Friday March 7th we (The Most Beautiful Losers) opened our doors @ our practice space to a young band out of Boliver Ohio called FAILED HALO during the big blizzard that hit Ohio. They were desperate to play a show so Brad our bass player went ahead and let them play even though everything was cancelled in the area and we couldn’t play because both Chris and Joe were stuck at their houses because of the snow. After they played and they were on there way out someone in their band decided to TAKE Chris’ black Fender Telecaster Custom guitar w/a hard case & Joe’s cymbals.... a cymbal case, a "22 hardshell Impact that contained a DW hi-hat clutch & "21 Zildjian Rock ride(which is not even Joe’s!!! He’s borrowing it!!!) &a pair of " 13 A costum hi-hats & "18 AAX Sabian fast crash(Joe’s favorate cymbal!) & "18 Zildjian power crash!
          Which all adds up to be over $2500 dollars worth of equipment!!!! We tried to contact these people & give them the benefit of the doubt to do the right thing & return back what is not theres & we have had no response!! So if you or any one you know has any info and lives in Stark County or surrounding counties in Ohio Please contact us!!! We have always tried to help support the music scene by helping lots of other bands get gigs and offering bands to play with us and this is really shitty for these guys to do to us!!!

Valentines Day 7 Inch Release

MIDWEST SUPERFRIENDS RECORDS will release our first 7 Inch Record on Valentines Day Feb 14th. The delicious 33rpm green vinyl has two of our favorite songs on it, WRISTCUTTER and TRUE LOVE STORY. We were gonna try for 3 songs but they wouldn't fit. It has awesome artwork by Crazy Matt Mayle and a slew of guests on it singin' and playin' guitars and stuff. To promote it's release we are heading out on a mini-tour at  a few select Midwest dates that we are sure will be filled with much Losers-style debauchery and fun! Sadly we say farewell to the Salt Miners

This Friday Dec 7th 2007 at the Magic Stick in Detroit will be the final show of our good buddies, The Salt Miners. We have been playing shows with them fairly often over the past five years and are very sad to see them go. They are all some of the best musicians that we have ever been blessed to know. We wish them all of the luck in the world in their new endeavors and will always cherish the fact that we got to see them play so rudely and beautifully...if you didn't get to... you better come to Detroit this Friday because they can put on one of the best live shows ever. On more than one occasion, we asked them to let us play first because we were knew if we played after them we would be too drunk to play!!! They just straight up drove us to drink!!! Come out to the show!

Halloween Hootennay IV

Thank you to FULL FRONTAL LOODITY and MANIFOLD STUD who made the Halloween Hootenanny IV at the Loop Cafe a wonderful evening of drunken bliss!!! FULL FRONTAL LOODITY were absolutely hilarious and MANIFOLD STUD rawked everyones ass off!!!! What an awesome evening!!! Then everyone went to our good buddy BUDDAH's Halloween party  for more "festivities"!!!  Damn!!! Sometimes it's hard to believe Canton has so many cool people living there!! Thanks to everyone who came out to the show and got blitzkrieg drunk with us all!!!!
